Room is available in a beautiful 2bd 2bath plus den 1400 sq. foot home in a great neighborhood in East Mesa bordering Gilbert. The room for rent is secluded, due to the split floor plan of the house and is conveniently located right next to the bathroom which would be yours. (I could see a guest occasionally using this since it’s closer to common living space than the master bathroom, but otherwise you will not be sharing.) The room is large enough for a queen bed with a large closet space. The house is updated and spacious and includes a whole house water filtration system as well as an indoor laundry room. Shared living spaces with backyard and cozy patio spaces. WIFI is included as well as unlimited access to multiple streaming services on the living room television. Rent includes a driveway parking space, depending on your vehicle size. The home is in a gated community with a pool and hot tub. Easy access to the 202 and 60, so just a quick drive to shopping, food and entertainment—Superstition Springs, Signal Butte, and San Tan Village.
*The house is fully furnished except for the bedroom that would be yours which is unfurnished.
About me:
I’m a 36 female who works as a community social worker. I work from home a couple of days a week in the office/den. I am social and enjoy being out of the house frequently in the evenings and weekends. I am a respectful, kind, considerate, responsible roommate who does not smoke or use illegal substances and I am seeking the same in my future roommate.
Must love dogs, I have a super sweet 10 year old Austrailian Cattle Dog mix and a 12.5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer/Pitbull mix who are both big love bugs but may be bothersome if you do not enjoy being around dogs. Unfortunately, I cannot have any other dogs or cats in the home (other types of pets (fish, reptiles, etc.) may be negotiable).
I’m looking for a non-smoking female roommate who would describe themselves as at least tidy (not going to leave food everywhere or dishes in sink etc.)
Potential roommates will have to pass a background and credit check to be approved prior to the rental agreement being completed. Additionally, proof of income is required.
At present, I would like to begin the rental process as month to month, at first, to ensure that we are a good fit for each other, with the option to extend the rental agreement to a year-long lease.
$900 plus half of the utilities (electric, water, and gas) every month
$500 security deposit
